before any Lightroom function like on my tablet (iPad or Android) then it's off limit for use for serious photography. Of course if you just want to posting on social media such as facebook, instagram etc, tablets should be sufficient.

More expensive than 50mm 1,8. Nikon always like that, overrated overpriced product LOL

Reg Natarajan: I love the idea. When I saw the headline, I mentally thought, "Sold!" Then I read a bit more. Android 2.3? Are they serious? Someone tell Nikon that Android 2.3 was released in 2010, and they're on 4.1 now.

Gingerbread is enough. No need for ICS since it needs more resources and that's unnecessary.

Cheezr: Kudos to Nikon for being first with the next gen compact.
Who woulda thunk it?

Polaroid has it first.

I found these very creative. Very artistic feeling about, accidentally or not. Just like fine art, not everyone could appreciated it though.

Sarge_: This camera changes nothing; Nikon makes the best DSLRs, and Canon makes the best compacts, with Sony leading the 'tween' market with the NEX... With respect to IQ, that is.

Nikon makes the best DSLRs? Since when? From user of D7000 and D700. Still prefer Canon.

wke002: Jmmg, I concurred with you. I need to get one compact and based on my lists of needs/spec, each time it falls back to X10. I try very hard to look at the likes of others but it still boils back to X10. Have had 2 Fuji compact in the last 9 years and when they start manufacturing it in China, have stop buying till this X10 made in Japan have made me think again.

As i need to get one before end May, I decided to take the plunge and get one this weekend. If the orb is visible even after installing new firmware, will submit it to local Fuji and wait for new sensor. I guess, my time will spend to take ORB(time to bring out the Christmas Ball !!!).

iPhone made in China, just sayin
