maarensv's current gear

Canon EOS 6D
Canon EOS 70D
Canon EOS M
Bought one when short after it hit the market. Replaced a 7D. Does not have the great 7D's ergonomics, but outperforms the 7D with ease when it come to IQ. The on spec simple AF turnes out to be highly effective and reliable.
7D was replaced by a 6D, but that one is now complemented by this 70D. Better in almost every way than the 7D except for build and handling, though not bad either.
Fits a small bag, that's why I have it. Great combo with the 22mm.
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L II USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM
Upgrade in everything compared to the original version : AF, IS, IQ, twist iso push-pull now also perfectly usable wide open
Can be better optically (but still pretty capable), has a very versatile focal range on FF for walk around, great IS and build. Does better on FF than it does on crop.
The versatile 24-105 L does quite well on 24mm, but this prime simply beats it in corners and contrast. Very light and compact.
Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM
Wonderfull lens. Sharp, fast, lightweight. Hopefully Canon makes more of these primes in the near future (like 50mm 70mm or 85mmm, 100mm ... with IS off course ...)
Lovely lens. Good quality foor a decent price. Pairs with the EOS M now most of the time
Fast, sharp, fixed max aperture, good IS and not as heavy as f2.8 equivalents.
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM
Canon EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM
By far the best 70-300 around at FL beyond 200mm. Already sharper wide open at 300mm than any other 70-300 stopped down. Very fast and reliable focus.
Part of the kit.
Great little lens.
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM
Tamron SP 90mm F2.8 Di VC USD 1:1 Macro
Tamron SP AF 60mm F/2 Di II LD IF Macro
Real bang for bucks. Sharp throughout the range.

Replaced a 20D, replaced by a 7D
Replaced a 40D, replaced by a 6D (and 70D)
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM
I should have kept this one !! Good IQ, great build and handled very well. Weather sealed as well with filter attached.
Replaced by the IS version
Had several copies. Never really happy with this lens, but still best in class. Experienced some real bad copies , optically and also AF. Replaced by a 70-300 L which is superior optically and is more reliable when it comes to AF.
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Tokina AT-X Pro 12-24mm f/4 DX II
Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD
Nice lens regarding IQ and build, sold because of switch to FF (but later complemented with an APS cam again, so could have kept it)_.
Best 70-300 in its class. Had it as relative light travel zoom. Stayed in the bag too much though.
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Had it for a short while out of interest. Decent alround zoom, not great, just fine.
