IQ and NR is too close to call, IMO. But, the G1X seems to have a sharper lens !! So cool !! Only downside is I don't have one to take on my trip right now. :( --

Apparently for some ppl they don't care if a system/cam is one unit, or several pieces. But to many of us pros who already have lots of pieces/systems, a one unit cam like the G1X does Not compare...

John, how do u explain higher read noise at 100 and again at 12800 (which is easier for me to believe)...not arguing, but ?? thx. --

Too many ppl use it in a snobbish sorta way. Fine for landscapes...not fine for many other situations. Leave it in manual and you will miss many many good shots cause your cam /settings were not...

From the DXO review you'd think no Canons should be anywhere near any pro hands...but look at big sporting events...tons there...I guess they failed to read the dxo reports. lol --

DXO has a history of being very controversial...and pro photogs don't usually give too much credence to this site...but by what the cam delivers in one's own hands. Ditto this unit, the G1X. ...

The test is nonsense. The G1X...T2i...less dr than an old 20D ??? give me a break. real world results are different. --
