I will wait for your next products. I hope the mirrorles is really good.
theSUBVERSIVE: I wanted to know if it's possible to have a ND attached to the 43mm filter thread and still be able to use the auto-lens cap, does it fit a filter when it's closed?
I hope Panasonic already think about this and put extra space for filters
Maybe manufacturer also can add more setting to make newbie easier to use the cameras. such as Bokeh setting and others.
wow soo long compared to the Prosumer with long zoom
utomo99: This is bigger sensor compared to Sony RX100 and Canon G7x. but look like not much people discuss about this. anybody know why ? because of the price or Brand ?
Please read: ropping it to allow for multi-aspect shooting (just as its predecessor did). Thus, the effective sensor area on the LX100 is really 1.5X larger than 1"1.5 x larger, it is very significant. I hope the pitucre quality is good. so the competition more hot. between Sony RX 1000 series, Canon G7x and also this panasonic LX100
This is bigger sensor compared to Sony RX100 and Canon G7x. but look like not much people discuss about this. anybody know why ? because of the price or Brand ?
I hope Fuji preparing big sensor camera on small body. 1 inch on the size of RX 100.
Panasonic please prepare new version: 1. Look at the cons list2. use New sensor which work better on low light. 3. Body redesign so it is better
George Veltchev: Surprisingly similar in every way to the Kodak Pixpro AZ522 released last year ... the same pea bean like size sensor, the same optical zoom, features and shape ... extraordinary way to bring some life into a failed project ... Bravo Ricoh ... Bravo Pentax !
They must use bigger sensor. they must use better sensor which work better on low light.
Sony need to prepare for the next model which is much better. lonegr zoom, better image. including on low light using new sensor. and many other things.
Tweak again the image quality so when it is launch to market the image quality will be good

Canon must improve the products by releasing new firmware and apps. It is possible and not difficult. Easier WiFi also a must now. Keep improving the product
I hope Sony can solve / reduce some problems by firmware update. or on Newer production batch. and keep improving on the next version. Write what user want/ review complain and try to improve on next model.
any picture sample taken using this ? I think the price is too high.
1. Mega Pixel War, and it is Over. 2. Longer Zoom war, almost over. 3. Bigger Sensor War, Still running. 4. Better Sensitivity. So we can take Good picture on Low light. I hope it will start Next year.
Julio Sánchez: FZ50 true sucesor.I like my FZ50 why not this? The zoom ring in mechanical or motorized?
I guess it is motorized. But I hope it is mechanical
Canon need to work really hard to deliver new S series model. If they did not give something really great (with price lower than 500), they will not sell many cameras.
Sony need to add smart zoom by reducing the Mega pixel (cropping it). Example 120mm on 6Mp. I think it is good for many people. Release this function on next firmware release
Too expensive. And why no hdmi port? Why not using ssd for bigger storage?
