According to Wikipedia that paint job is Admiralty Disruptive Camouflage Type 25. Very handsome.

I just tried mine. It's not dead. (Well, strictly speaking it wasn't dead 2 minutes ago, but it could have died in the mean time. I'd better try it again).

Looks like a good setup for that sort of thing. I like the second one best. It is nice and sharp and it's a character filled pose. That is you in the grey shirt is it? (reflected in the glasses)

Yes, those look similar alright.

It is a bad time of year for them alright.

Thanks. I sort of like it too, but I'm wondering where it comes from. I don't know if it is peculiar to the PL25 as I don't remember seeing it much before.
-
Thanks. I don't have a protection filter though, so that wouldn't be it, although I guess that might cause such a thing. I guess I'm living dangerously, but I hope the hood will stop most things...

Thanks. The bright bits in the middle were about what I could see with my eyes. I couldn't see the dimmer ball around them or the starry bits either.

Thanks. I expect the aperture does matter, but I was wondering what caused the effect. I'll experiment one of these nights with different apertures and see what happens.

Can anyone explain the halos around the streetlights in this picutre. There is also a bit of the star shaped flare? as well. I am guessing that they are caused by two different...

This was hand held outside in near darkness with the PL25. I'm happy with it.

I like them both. Sydney, I guess?

The photographer could have done better but the camera did pretty well in difficult conditions. Any comments are appreciated. A dimly lit pair Stick that in your automatic white balance and...

Thanks. Yes, it's pretty hard not to fill most of the frame with the subject with that lens and the background gets thoroughly blurred.

I have a 50mm 1.7 and a 135mm 2.5. Here are a couple of informal portraits, one from each. The 135mm 2.5 is a bit soft wide open, but stopped down one notch it is pretty sharp. I find it a...

I particularly like the second. The line of pink in the sky connects with the line of the rocks.
