What is actually wrong with the lens? A spring popped out, but what is the impact? Does it not focus or zoom?

Indeed, seems to be a fantastic place - I also saw that in street view: streets, houses, panorama, everything very nice.

Obviously the hotel has been renamed. I am unable to tell what its name was at the time the picture was taken.

The A99 doesn't do CDAF. The only Sony DSLR/DSLT cameras that had it were A560 and A580.
