Cy Cheze: One picture shows the camera plunging into water. That implies it would survive more than just a spattering of rain, spill from a drink, or expectoration from an unappreciative subject.
Maybe DPR should actually dunk "weather sealed" cameras into a pot of water to check if the plunge picture bespeaks dry fact or waters the truth a bit.
Splash not dunked.
Alphoid: I'm still waiting for DNG support. I finally broke down and bought a copy for my non-DNGs, but without that, it's very nice but slightly crippled.
Opens my Pentax K-5 DNG files.
Oh course I'm not saying if the criticism isn't positive don't post but I feel criticism alone without suggestions and for example" look at my photograph in similar conditions were I think it was improved by underexposing by a stop at point of capture rather than playing with curves in PP which would have change the colours!"
I feel the comments that are left sometimes reflect the old camera club mentality were you criticise, positively or negatively, because of personal prejudice.
It just happened that both negative critiques don't have images posted in challenges or gallery.
Well done pcarfan,
I laugh at the couple of boo boys whos don't like it! No gallery pics and no challenge submissions by them. It's hard to criticise armchair critics!
Well done pcarfan!
