Groceries, apartment complexes, life insurance, cars, shopping centres, electronics, home appliances, shipping, manufacturing, construction arms and more - I can't think of a more boring company to...

Bokeh has much to do with proximity to the subject. Even an iPhone with an f/2,4 wide angle lens on a tiny sensor will show gentle OOF areas if the subject is close enough. Similarly, long lenses...

Complete the image with a 10,5cm/2,5 LTM lens instead. Works more closely to the x-pro philosophy anyway. Optics a bit smoother in aperture bokeh, but more flare. Also heavier. Front filter rotates...

I hope my article helped a bit. I've not had time to really be helpful at my website.
Have you ever used an LTM lens before? They are mechanical. The fuji is 100% electronics with faux manual...

I specifically use LTM and M lenses on the X-Pro.
Manual focus isn't great like it is on a rangefinder camera. You will have to use the 10x zoom function and lose prescious seconds. or just try at...

Norway sure is beautiful. I lived next to it for years but never got there during the winter. Need to do that.

Interesting idea. I've not seen kids' head attenuators before. I work in the headphone world and thought I'd seen everything.

Beautiful mood. The bird, the tree: lovely.

I've not yet used the F lenses, but I use a number of Canon and Nikon LTM lenses on the X. They are wonderful. Typical normal lenses (35-50mm) are small, lightweight, and not too expensive, either....

Canon 35/2 LTM next to the larger Zeiss Biogon 2/35 ZM lens. Image taken with the X-Pro 1 and Nikkor 10,5/2,5 PC LTM lens.
I've owned both of these lenses for a few years. The Canon has been used...

I apologise for the illiterate below you who not only can't read hyperbole, but doesn't get sarcasm or DPReview forum zeitgeist, either.

Interestingly enough, the Fuji lenses act more like computers than any other lens I've used. Sure there is an aperture ring, but it moves nothing, rather just communicates in 1's and 0's what the...

I agree that they are a bit expensive, but I'm glad. There is a problem in the world today: everything has to be the same price. The niche for well-made, quality design worked products is dwindling...

Just wanted to ask: where did you find a 6 bladed 105/2,5 Nikkor? I'd pay a good price for one. I have the 9 and the 7 and very much dislike the asymmetrical bokeh patterns when stopped down.

6 bladed apertures are my favourite. 5 can be good sometimes, but puts out more points in a star. 6 or 8 is the sweet spot that doesn't suck in too much attention to the stars. Lovely

The only thing about removable batteries is: customers probably won't recycle them properly. I would imagine no more than 20% would take them to a proper storage facility. Most will end up in...

The 35/1,4 is HUGE! It is much easier to get a fast rangefinder 35 (money is an issue often unless voigtlander) that is much smaller and better for natural focusing. But having two cameras (for...

Indeed. My preferred focal length is somewhere in between 42-48, so 50 would be more or less right for me. I'd prefer a lens with a speed/dof equivalent of f/2. I don't care for 1,4 lenses, though...
