Congratulations
And their height even lines up.
This is great! I hope you have plans to do different variations with different conditions.
Good work with the B&W, it could really pass for old time if the soldiers were not so crisp and clean,,;))
Sweet, did you know the rider or wait for a passer by?
I still like this very much and am very happy to see your work. Wish I had got around to voting on this challenge.
Ditto, I could use some of that "luck", very nice.
Blomerus: Excellent photo! I love the dramatic and surreal feel to this photo.
Is this your first in this genre? Do you have any other similar photos on flickr or another site?
I have been playing on and off with this type of photography for a while now. Maybe we can share ideas.
Congratulations once again.
Regards

Thanks, and WOW... I'm no where near your level, just a guy that likes to play with his camera now that the kids are gone... A couple people have suggested I start a page but....
I have tried to do a couple other things, but have been frustrated by positioning, framing, getting them to stay in place and control/balancing of light not to mention the dust that collects if you take to long.
I would like to find some nicer props and have thought about using smaller bearings, but I really need a good macro lens and maybe some flashes before trying again.
SJN2004: Classic Cinema 4D
In case I am misunderstanding your comment, (computer generated?), I put a photo of the set-up in my gallery.
tazmac: This is just so masonic!
Thanks much tazmac, had to look that one up as well. I put a photo of the set-up in my gallery if you are interested.
Andy Moreton: Is this a photo or is it computer generated?
Andy, it is real, I put a photo of the set-up in my gallery if you are interested.
bluemoonman: Great work & well deserved top spot but why the low votes?
I don't have an answer for the low vote thing you see too much of on many challenges, mis-guided or something else?
Thanks all and there is a shot of the set-up in my gallery now if you are interested.
Christian, I need to find some of those magnets you used... Very Cool!
pen araneae: Ingenious. Congratulations.
Thanks pen, I put a photo of the set-up in my gallery if you are interested.
Zol Straub: Great shot, well desreving of 1st place, congrats.
Thanks Zol.
Thanks all, this is all real, set up on an old overhead projector. I will put a photo in my gallery to give you an idea when I get home tonight. Give it about 10 hours, work keeps getting in the way of play time.
I tend to stick with the basic processing, curves, black, gray and white point selection, etc... I don't even know what "raytraced" is, will have to look it up...
Is it assumed voting is only done on the cropped version?
Not a Honeybee...
aaanouel: I'd bet it's fake.
Or not - Thanks for looking, It is a "real" a big bubble but I wouldn't know how to "Fake" it from 30 plus feet away.
"not infected by anger, jealousy, " you haven't been around many toddlers with younger siblings ave you?
Can a human be in the frame as long as they aren't the main focus of the image like a someome walking on the bridge or someone who just happens to be sittng in front of a structure?
