  • This story was brought in from Petapixel, so apparently the editors thought it was an interesting enough development to mention it in the news feed. It does seem novel, even if it might be a new...

  • Great idea. This would be pretty cheap to DIY, but if the price is right it makes sense to skip the hassle and buy these.

They are based in Canada. Hopefully their velcro adhesive will be heat...

the link to the USPTO is embedded in the first sentence of the article. It's a utility patent, and turned around quickly. What interests me is that GoPro did not even attempt follow...

  • @vsharun Please cite your source. As of 22 March 2015 DXOMark has not yet tested the new Canon cameras.

The closest comparable sensor according to Westfall, the 7D mark II, remains a full stop...

  • Which product would you be referring to? There are no less than three other companies that offer similar solutions: peak design, spider, and cotton carrier, and there are probably others if I...

  • I have shot Canon since 2003. I would like to continue shooting Canon because of their unquestionably dominant EF lineup. If you are a sports, portrait, studio, or predominantly telephoto shooter...

  • "Canon is telling us that basically the dynamic range of this camera is equivalent to the 5D Mark III."

In other words, more than two stops less than my $500 Sony a6000. This is so disappointing.

  • Anthony and Waffel, you are both right on this one.

"Girls / Women / Teenagers" might over-generally and stereotypically (but with an important seed of truth) refer to people who would prefer the...

You are SOL. Sorry. There are no good native options faster than 4.0. You stick stick a prime on it and use it like a toy camera, and/or jump ship for another brand. Unfortunately, Sony do not...

Don't mind Mr. Britton; he is a Gehennian snarkle pony. He was making fun of me to his friends less than two minutes after meeting me.

I still find dpreview's work credible but I will think twice...
