One of my favourites in the challenge. I like the geometry. Well seen and captured!

I really like your photo. I've been in the woods on magical days like that. I think it was one of the better photos in the challenge, and should have placed higher - but there were only 15 votes, so maybe not a good sample.

Congratulations on first place. Lovely photo! I see you're doing well in challenges. Hope you'll take up voting too. :-))

On photo Golden morning in the On Golden Pond (NO LAKES) challenge (1 comment in total)

I like this one a lot. I thought it would place higher, but maybe the pond was too big for the voters, I don't know. It's a well-crafted photo of a lovely winter scene in my opinion.

This was my favourite in the challenge. Maybe voters thought it wasn't small enough to be a pond. It's a lovely photography - it's got some mood, and seemed to stand out from the rest of the entries.

I thought this was one of the best in the challenge. The photo says 'precision'. Nice black and white tones too.

I really liked this one, I think because of the deep rich colours and the softness of the out-of-focus areas. It looks very old.

I like this shot because it fits the challenge theme and also tells a story. It's colourful too. Good work!

I like this one a lot. The bird seems to be interested in its own reflection. One of my favourites in the challenge.

Beautiful. One of my favourites in the challenge. I like the underwater details and the stillness of the pool. Good work. Glad to hear that you only 'almost' dunked your camera. They don't work so well when they're wet.

On photo Mt Hood in the Landscape Photo in a Square Format. challenge (2 comments in total)

A very nice landscape photo in my opinion. Apparently a lot of voters liked it too. The path makes a nice leading line, and the bear grass gives some foreground interest and adds depth. Well done! Nice portrait of Mt. Hood.

Beautiful landscape. There's foreground interest, lovely clouds, and a pretty little alpine lake. Many of us don't get to see this sort of scene in real life. This was one of my favourites in the challenge.

Excellent photo in my opinion. The composition is intriguing, and the subject perfectly placed. Good work! The brilliant whites and the blue dome with the cross say 'Greece' immediately.

This was one of my favourites in the challenge - maybe because I've never seen anything like this before. Crazy! I was hoping it would finish higher, but tenth is a pretty good finish in a challenge with so many good photos.

I'm impressed with your technique. The rider's eye is tack sharp, and the 50D was not really a 'sports' camera. There were some great photos in this challenge. Congratulations on 3rd.
