Wow, look at the colours - purple shoes too! This old girl's still got spirit! One of my favorites in the challenge.

A very hopeful scene. This was one of my top choices when I voted. Did you try cropping this closer - to just the man, baby, and graffiti? Anyway, great shot as it is too!

One of my favorites in the challenge. It captures the spirit of youth, and so is perfect for the theme 'Wonderful World'. The colours are beautifully fresh and clean! Good work!

I've seen this photo before - but I still like it. The light is beautiful. And the story is a good one too.

When I voted, I knew this was the winner. Good work. I love the visual trick of the hand adding the extra dimension. It's so much more than just a great shot of a train. Very nice!

On Holy Prisoner in the My Best Photo of the Week challenge (1 comment in total)

Hmmm - a photo with a message, or at least one that attempts to go a bit beyond the everyday snapshot. I voted four stars for it - which is very high for me. Someone said once that we have enough photos of what the world looks like - now we need photos of what the world means. Keep on clicking!

On Sway in the My Best Photo of the Week challenge (1 comment in total)

I voted high for this one because it was different and interesting. I've tried a few myself, using dozens of stacked images, trying to show the wind in the trees. There is some visual harmony here - I think it's the diagonal streak of light sky that does it. Good one! The colours are a bit gloomy, but that's part of the photo. Sometimes I think challenge voters only like bright, happy colours (and themes).

I like your photo. It was a bit different than the rest, and one of my favorites in the challenge. On my screen it looks a little dark, but I suspect that's what you wanted for this image. Good work!
