I wish we had a show like Photokina in Australia. How about you people from Down Under?

On Bad Weather = Good Photography article (77 comments in total)

This article has inspired me for being active on a rainy day.

I've read some comments and stopped doing that. Why are some people so negative? We have all a different taste, so let's respect each others opinion and photos!

On Just posted: Our Canon EOS 70D hands-on preview article (355 comments in total)

I am just thinking about buying a Tamron Macro lens. But.... will it work on the EOS 70D? The success of 70D will partly depend on the compatibility of Canon lenses and other lenses (Tamron, Sigma). Or are we going to buy new lenses too? I don't!

In reply to:

gpsgps: Is there any logical explanation to the differences in prices in USD, GBP and EUR? Canon 70D with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens is to cost:
$1549 or
£1399.99 (=$2,130.43) or
€1499 (= $1,953.93).
Are Europeans subsidising American photographers or are just plain ripped off?

How about Australia? Why do we Aussies always have to pay more than others?

On 10 Photo Editing Programs (that aren't Photoshop) article (353 comments in total)

I haven't read all the comments yet, but what about Irfanview? It is free and good for photo editing and batch conversion. Many pluginns are available, I haven't tried all the possibilities yet.
Look at www.irfanview.de

Is it finally possible in Elements 11 to soft proofing my photos, so I can have them printed in the right colours and exposure?
