Condoms are great as rain protection. Just get the lube free professional quality.

Nice set! I like the light in village streets in b&w.

I use small running socks made of nylon. Less lint than cotton.
EasyCover neopren pouches look a bit less ghetto.

For the time being I’m ok with my private LR license. But this subscription-based model means, considering a private Photoshop license is out of question. I simply don't trust Adobe. It’s kind of...

Thanks, Jacques and Valentino.
Yes, it’s the train underpass in Altona.

Some images with the UWA from my recent trip to Hamburg.
It’s really interesting that you can squeeze elements into the frame that wouldn’t fit with a narrower angle of view. Also with this lens I...

Thanks for sharing these images and telling the story on your blog.
That you used perspective correction underlines to the sober and undramatic tone of the story.

Thanks, Gale and Poul
I was bicycling on a folding bike, which I take with me on trips. It’s my preferred way to explore a city when the weather allows it.

They use the lens hood as a spoiler. Great for high speed photography against the wind. :-D

On my recent trip to Hamburg I was strolling around by bike in full daylight - until I came to this underpass. What a contrast.- this sinister place, lit by yellow lamps.

Wonderful tones and atmosphere in this image.

Ok. Enough is enough :D
Anyway as always, thanks for the kind comments. :)
I find that composing with this lens at the wide end is a lot more demanding, than with a lens with longer focal length....

I spent my Easter holidays in Hamburg and judging from the amount of images, I did nothing than taking pictures :)
The weather was light-wise beautiful but freezing cold.
Somehow the new wideangle...

I’ve used the V1 since it was released and never had an issue.
Just keep the sensor at side of the EVF clean to keep it function properly.

After having the batteries run down twice last weekend I’ve made a tiny stick-on.
It hopefully stays in place and protects the playback-button. We’ll see.

These images are from the media museum at Brandts in Odense http://brandts.dk/en/current-exhibitions
This old printing equipment is fascinating. It has never been my work, but I’ve always liked the...

Some images from the print shop at the media museum in Odense, Denmark.
The light was a mix of daylight and very warm tungsten. Actually I like the way, these two light-colours blend.
