Great catch - just checked and I had the setting on Astia with color -1. Youve got a great eye!

If you are even *thinking* of getting it -- get it!

The fact that the firmware update was SO minor speaks volumes to the fact that Fuji got 99% of the major items correct right out of the gate.
(If the FW had huge fixes, I'd be annoyed at having...

I wish I had an RX1 with me for this mini-birthday party so I could have apples-to-apples comparisons of real world, indoor shots
Anyway... I have many kids, and have had years to photograph them....

Yep - Auto all the way...with one exception I noticed I had accidentally knocked the EV dial to -2/3 EV...
Everythign else from A on the lens to A on the shutter speed to SOOC JPEG was Auto. Lazy...

Hi all. I'm tip-toeing into this forum quietly. I like my Fuji X100S (please, hold your tomatoes and rotten fruit), but after handling a colleague's RX1 and seeing the image output - I am in love...

Hi all. Today was my eldest daughter's birthday, and I arrived home just in time for the after-school, after-dinner cupcakes that my wife had picked up. Grabbed the X100S for some quick indoor...

Yes - I hear you, Father.
Ive purchased many Fuji products, and I think this is a first. But, I think many mfrs are going this route (not much in the way of a manual in box). Of course, I'm sure...

That aside, I miss NOTHING about my E-M5....

Hi all. Been busy and have not posted in a while, but continue to absolutely love the output of my X100S. Of course, I loved the X100 but jumped on the chance to own an X100S given the situation.In...

Hi. Based on everything you wrote, get an X100S asap.I borrowed a Leica X1 last year and found it unbearably slow. Even though I was not shooting sports, etc. It is completely unacceptable. Yes, it...

I dont use much flash at all, in general. When I do use flash, I use the EF-20 which I place a sto-fen diffuser on top of as well as point it up to bounce a little. However, for the vast majority of...

The skin tones are insanely good. You can make them even "better" by fiddling with settings. I prefer either Astia or ProNegHi, with -1 Color and +1 Sharpness. Everything else set to Auto (incl DR)...

I will try to post one soon, but the results will point to what you already know: E-M5 beats X100S in video.I do not shoot much video at all, so it doesnt matter to me. But, if you plan on shooting...
