Jeez, is this a camera forum or red necks forum?
I'm the world's fastest 100m runner (1).
Note 1: Measured against against 85 year old ladies in 35c heat.
I'm not buying one unless they come out with a gold plated croc skin edition.
With cameras like the Sony RX100, it is a miracle that Nikon sells any 1 series cameras. Nikon puts a small sensor in a big body with a high price and then forecast big sales?
Pentax really can't afford to waste resources to come out with such a flawed concept. They really should have canned the Q series and started again.
The Sony RX100 blows this Nikon away. The Sony has a zoom, the wide end is faster, the DOF is pretty much the same for both cameras which negates the Nikon's larger sensor. For normal use, Sony's IQ matches the Nikon's except upwards of ISO1600. On top of that the Sony is more pocketable. What's the rationale for the Nikon?
Nikon should kill it and start from scratch again.
Both completely outclassed by the RX100
Similar to a $100,000 VW Beetle I guess. Trading on nostalgia.
Phottix is the same as the no-brand grips that you can get for $50 on ebay. These things are essentially just battery holders. It'll work perfectly as long as you use genuine Canon batteries. Canon is gouging when it asks for $300 for the grip. Nikon happily does the same with its grips. But then, I guess Leica charges a fortune just for the brand name .....
Best bang for the buck out there. Amazing IQ. Just needs a better LCD. The current one is crap when shooting 3:2.
Why in the world would anyone get the D7100? Maybe 2% might need the extra features in the D7100.
No doubt a great camera but competition will be coming in the form of similar sized and cheaper DSLRs. I'm sure Nikon will soon be coming up with a DSLR that will be smaller than the Canon 100D. Still M43 has the advantage of smaller lenses.
Nice big fat nail on the coffin for the 1 series. Tiny sensor in a big body and a ridiculously expensive lens. The D3100 and 50mm 1.8 blows this away on every count.
This cam is as good as the D4 but isn't any much better than the D3200. Go figure!
Dead in the water. Still too big. Canon needs to improve the AF on the M and release a few fast primes.
Little wonder that Nikon's profit is going downhill.
Why r Nikons getting uglier and uglier?
Another rehash of old tech. Ho hum.
Held back on the D800 because of left AF issues. Now D600 looks like a lemon. So got myself an OM-D. Simply blows away my previous Nikons. Pound for pound best camera out there. Thanks to Nikon's recalcitrance I'm putting all my Nikon gear on ebay and am much better for it.
