I also love these kinds of articles, really widening the knowledge base!

Hi there,
I have a large Billingham Hadley, which is wonderful quality but not as usable as I'd like it to be. The drop pockets at the front are capacious, but end up in a disorganised jumble of...

I've found this thread really useful as I'm watching a few of these 105 Nikon on eBay. I've recently bought a 135 3.5 (Nikkor Kogaku?) but it's a very poor lens in comparison to the Fuji primes I...

I spoke to a guy from Lee filters regarding their Seven5 and the 14mm; he told me they bought the 14mm and shot with it to ensure the Seven5 would be compatible and not have any issues.

I use 'Exposure Calculator' app on my Xperia; makes life much easier when working with longer exposures. I did the below using the 0.9 ND Lee, on top of the ND110 by B+W screwed to the lens. Might...

I've got the Seven5 system - why is this not reviewed anywhere?? I jumped and bought it without really knowing how it compares to other systems - you just hope Lee is good enough quality.

I use a Seven5 system for my XP1; got the 0.9 soft grad and 0.9 ND filter which I use in conjunction with an ND110 screw in - Lee 10 stop wasn't available when I bought the system, but it is...

Oh wow! I didn't realise they had released a Fuji version of this. I have the 2xYn560ii for some Nikon gear I had a while ago and they worked so well for strobist.

Ah, I didn't realise that - thanks for setting me right. I always wondered why 50mm is flagged as portrait ready in almost every advert!
Look forward to seeing some reviews of it.

I have the XP1 and 18 F2 + 35 F1.4
I'll probably put the 18mm up for sale soon, pick up the 14mm but I'm not sure about the 52mm - while I love the idea for portraiture, so many websites claim 50mm...

Hi there,
I can't even remember the name of them, but I just picked up some el cheapo triggers from Amazon for my D7000, before I sold it to downsize to the XP1 I checked to make sure they'd fire...

Wonderful shot, this is on my list next for the XP1!
Why not AF may I ask?

Thanks, read that and the half press does seem to work but alters the exposure value the moment the button is released. That destroys the impact of a graduated filter doesn't it?
Tried focus...

Hi guys,
Recently bought a couple of Lee Filters to experiment with some graduated filters. However, I'm having a problem that the EVF/LCD seems to be compensating for the grads when I slide them...

Thanks for your answer, I've tried to click on your links but it says the entry isn't available?

Hi guys,
Had my X100 for over a year, just traded it in for an X Pro 1 - got a great deal on it as the camera shop owner was retiring, ended up (with cash back promotion) not having to pay a great...
