Weren't there some old Nikon SLRs where the mirror could be locked up?
I find my X-T1 tends to overexpose sometimes as well giving a cyan sky. Really shouldn't happen with mirrorless since the camera theoretically knows exactly what it is shooting!
Would also help if...
I' sorry but your comparison is pointless as your exposures are different - your test wasn't properly done.
In both cases your D4 exposure was shorter i.e.. 1/125s and 1/500s for D4 vs 1/100 s and...
Thanks for the post.
NX-D seems to be doing it as well. Here is a crop from the ISO 25K image:
D4s on the left, Df on the right
I think it is quite obvious when you look at them side by side.

The other thing to keep in mind is that I'm processing those pictures in ACR 8.4rc, which is NOT the final release. Maybe I can try to download the Nikon software if they...
Probably a good reason not to buy a camera based on a single number from a single review.
True. The reality is, however, that DPR's connection to Amazon means that...
Good grief. Who cares what the 'score' is?
You've bought yours. If you like it what difference does what anyone else thinks make?

Sorry to add to the lists of threads on usability of X-T1 control and dials.
I'm just confused, there are three dials on the X-T1, the shutter speed which only locks on AUTO, the ISO...

I just got mine a couple of days ago and very impressed with it as well!

If only Nikon could implement this functionality, the d800 really become an almost perfect camera.
With 36 MP, you could expect an M-RAM equivalent to a 24MP or 16MP, see both.
It's a light leak through the viewfinder - I've had exactly the problem when I've forgotten to close the viewfinder shutter on long exposures.
.my nikon d700 nefs are only 10-12????????
That's a very good point.
My D4 NEFs (14 bit lossless compressed) are around 16MB.
X-E1, X-A1, RAFs around 25MB

Isn't it amazing that a near-perfect camera has everyone talking about ONE button? :-D

Are we prepared to reconsider what the concept of technological advancement with specific reference to megapixel count really means? Nikon with the D4s is attempting to teach us a...
