williejr: Yep... right on par with the Canon T3I... Wait till the Canon T4i, it will be about the same. This camera is noisy at 800. Don't kid yourself.

Look at the picture of the kid with chocolate on his face. At ISO 100 and its noisy

marbo uk: Nikon are just punching canon while their down now.
An entry level camera with more pixels than any canon camera in their range and the image quality to back it up. Comparing noise to the 5dm3, it`s not far behind at all. The D400 is going to be an animal :)

Hardly... These are right on par with the Canon T3I. Seriously, don't kid yourself.

Mannypr: We still have to see how it will do with noise . Nikon is going to sell boat loads of this one.

This has to be the dumbest series branding. They had the D3000, D3100, now the D3200.... Whats next D3300 with 36MP for $899 next year? Can't wait to see the D7100... that was a joke.. haha

Sorry, not sure what some of you are looking at, but the 5D3 is killing D800 in high ISO and Detail... If the price of the 5D3 was the same as the Nikon, would you buy it? Or would you buy the D800?

1DX will beat the D4 hands down in specs, picture quality and video once it is all said and done. D3S stills are better according to a lot of Nikon forums.

Pier81: I hope the AF speed will be faster than the previouse "economics" g lenses, even the 50 1.4 is very slow for my own!

yeah, the AF takes awhile to lock on with my d700. slow af like the 50 1.4. :( The motor on it is pretty silent.
