If it was an interchangeable lens camera, it would have been bigger and heavier. If it had a zoom instead of a prime lens, image sharpness would not have been the same. Choices have to be made,...

Impressive quality, and I take 99% of my shots at 28mm... I guess that this is the ultimate compact for people who love this focal length.
