Neither seem to have motion blur, and both were shot at 1/60 second, which should be fast enough with that focal length.
The XM1 shot seems to have more detail at 100% (can't tell unless you are at...

lol. Well, still with caveats.
m43, esp the new EM1, can use all the Oly native lenses, and focus quite acceptably. Add in the native m43 lenses, and m43 has a MUCH larger staple of compact, quick...

That's a debatable point. m43 image quality in the newer bodies (NOT the older bodies) is pretty darn good. In fact, I'd say the noise is less, though IMO the Canon colors can be better when...

I can't convince you of anything. Try it if you want.
But one thing I would say -- the 22mm lens will best anything you've got already, based on your list. If you get the $300 deal, IMO, the 22mm...

I was holding out to see the XE2 before finally jumping in to Fuji. Now I'm not so sure I want to bother.

Most of my favorite sites for lens reviews haven't really done any EOS-M reviews yet. You know you've hit rock bottom when you are reading Ken Rockwell write-ups, lol.
Any rate, for those...

Love your first shot with the fishing rod.
I also like your videos, but the CMOS jello is evident in the dolly work. The whole image swims a bit. I haven't tested video on my little M, but it seems...

I just checked ePhotozine.
The only pics that could be compared are the studio color charts, and the WB is so clearly different, it makes comparison...

Had to learn how to embed images.

I can't seem to figure it out, and a search turned up some old ways, but I don't see how they map to the latest Flickr release.

I see these early reviews talking about better sharpness and reduced noise (esp the latter) on the XA1, but what about color? I thought the XTrans had the best color I've yet seen on a smaller than...

I wonder why this was dropped into powershot talk? It belongs in the M forum...

I laughed this one off when it first launched, but gave in after the price drop and the AF update to make it a bit snappier.
I am delightfully surprised at how well this little camera performs. The...

I have an EOS-M and just got the novoflex EOS to EOS-M adapter.
The EOS lenses are AFing fine on the M (testing the 85/1.8, 50/1.4 and even my ancient 70-210USM), but the auto-peripheral and CA...

I wouldn't pay ANY money for a camera in that condition.
Also, with the M2 coming out, and with this camera in this condition, this body will be worth nearly zero.

I didn't read the other replies, so this is just MO.
Get the M w/the 22mm lens. It's a very nice lens, and the combo is the cheapest going for this quality. There are better quality rigs, but it'll...

I see two adapters available with contacts for EOS to EOS-M. A fotodiox and a Canon brand.
I'm assuming the Canon brand would be fine, but the fotodiox is 1/2 the price.
Anyone have any experience...

Fujixspot.com is one. And there are others. google for them!

Had m43 since it started, and the one thing that never changed -- people constantly dropping into the m43 DPR forum and complaining about m43, and announcing they were going to this or that system....
