Let me just pass on a comment that I think you did a great job on this arch. I have photographed it numerous time on numerous trips to the southwest. This is exceptionally well done, though out and executed. I may just try to duplicate it on some evening when the moon is rising or out. I might even try a few remote flashes set up to light up the backside of Atlatl Rock back there under the arch.
You did an absolutely remarkable job. Riviting image of an otherwise so-so arch.

Well, for someone whom is not a photographer to pull this off...Kudos to you. I think what may be lost to a lot of individuals that look at this image is just how tough and time consuming it is to pull off this quality image.
Great results, professional looking and well thought out execution. And this from someone who is a professional photographer. You should be proud of this shot.
It make me want to do a setup next year and take this a step further;)
Thanks for posting and congrats!

This is a very well done image. The composition, mood and subject matter is beautifully executed and keeps the view moving through the entire shot with masterfully placed diagonals.

This image is simply stunning. The tonal range is superb and the PP is beautifully executed. The composition is exceptionally well done. Fantasstic image that I think is the class of a very competitive challenge.
Regardless of the PP, the end result, to me at least, is that the image is masterfully rivitiing in it's content and visual content. I don't care if it was tone mapped or not. The final execution was powerful and emotive and shows a glimpse of life as it is in a large part of the world.
Perfectamente!
