Whereas if the OP follows your suggestion of only using a 70mm equivalent lens he'll have to do cropping or stitching for more or less every shot.
Face it: you suggested an expensive lens which has...

jiamflash: no one said anything about first party lenses. Except you. So stop calling the kettle black with your "loyalist" comments. You're the one who's picking sides here.

Early adopters pay the price. That's just the way it is, across all brands. Sometimes the deal is further sweetened with oil on the sensor, or other manufacturing defects. If you think the other...

Hello Forum,
Anyone want to share any gorgeous shots from the Olympus m9-18? We certainly want to see them! Please post your shots.
Some say you should get the 7-14 or 12/2.0 for good results. I...

You'll get some other suggestions but the 20/1.7 is really it for a general-purpose lens. It can be wide, it can deal with reasonably distant subjects and it works well in both good and bad light....

Now that spring has arrived it isn't pocketable even with...

Yabokkie: You can talk at length about this if you want to. However, the people you're replying to in this thread will still be right about the f-number, and you will be wrong.

Well, he said "EVF will replace OVF like digital replaced film.". You're saying film went nowhere, only declined in numbers. I don't think these statements need to be incompatible, if EVFs replace...

I would be very interested in such a lens. The 12/2.0 is too expensive, even if it's good.
I have the 19/2.8 and it's very nice. A 12mm probably wouldn't perform quite as well, but UWA for no more...
