Would have preferred 24-90mm

Yeah I agree the E-P5 is not that exciting, it's a great camera in an absolute sense but there's no way to justify a $1000 camera without a viewfinder no matter how good it is.

Pretty hilarious how your sarcastic sales pitch is a more damning indictment of the X-M1 than anything a critic could have written.

$700 for body only and Taiwan retailers on ebay are selling the X-E1 (a superior camera in every respect) for $675). So there is really no reason at all to buy the X-M1. The 16-50mm lens I'm sure...

Piracy is pretty much irrelevant as far as Adobe and others are concerned because the vast majority of software users and digital media consumers are willing to pay for the product, either because...

1. Do you not realize the absurdity of an article like this suggesting people purchase used gear? Or imposing an arbitrary budget on people? Your argument against compactness contains nothing to do...

Okay, fair enough, I don't think it's ugly but maybe that's just because I like cameras. So what do you think instead about a flat, modular, retracting lens accessory that could attach to the top...

To me this seems like a no-brainer, the utility of a zoom lens cannot be understated on a phone, and there are alsready some very thin point and shoot cameras with zoom lenses and there is one...

It's illogical to suggest that you can give someone viewing access to something but not let them replicate it. We already have an internal replicating mechanism - the brain - the only difference...

LOL no U.S. price, Canon is a joke that hasn't made a relevant camera in years, DSLRs are dead and long live M4/3.
-
They'd better be some incredibly superb lenses at those prices.

The first product Canon has ever made that wasn't a blatant ripoff of another company...oh wait, nevermind

So does this finally mean the fabled 8-1000mm f/1.0 optically flawless lens we've been demanding for so long?
