As an owner of the K-5, I would like to see the AFC comparison of the two cameras. I have kids so would love to see if Pentax improved on this segment.
Thanks DPR!
halai: DPR, am I seeing it correctly? High ISO at 6400 on D800 and D600 is worst than D700 in raw file? Not that I shoot that high in ISO, but thought it was weird to see that.
Thanks Marike6! I will check out DxOMark sensor tests

I like the idea that Pentax is keeping at 16mp. For most people, this is more than enough. If AF-C anywhere near the Nikon D700, I will upgrade my K-5 in a heart beat, and Pentax will hit a home run out of the park. A lot of Pentax users including myself are waiting for this. If it's slightly better than the K-5, I will past and continue to use my K-5 until it dies. In the meantime, I will get the D600 when it comes out to replace my D700.
I primarily shoot Nikon but I have to say this is the best camera at this price range. I don't even think the soon release Nikon D5200 and Canon T4i can't even touch this. Really love the design and all weather sealing at $850, SICK!!! I think Pentax will hit a home run with this camera. Also, I like the fact that Pentax kept at 16mp instead of 24mp or even higher like other companies are doing. Why? To be honest, how many people really need higher than 16mp??? I know I know... there will always some people, but seriously what is the percentage of that?
