CHAT with NIKON - The Focus Points are RED

Dukens L.: Hi, my name is Dukens L.
Dukens L.: How can I help you today?
Frank: Does the new D5 have RED focus points like the D4S
Dukens L.: Yes it does.
Frank: They stay RED when looking through the viewfinder and highlight when the shutter is depressed half way?
Dukens L.: You will be able to see the focus point through the viewfinder when the shutter is half pressed.
Frank: And it is RED
Dukens L.: Yes

Again, Thank you.

zacharry, I forgot to mention that the artifacts and/or distractions in the background are actually rolling waves.

I shoot from/in the surf in order to be as low and close as possible.

At 300dpi on my NEC monitor the image is very sharp.

See you in the surf :-)

Happy New Year!!!

Thank you for appreciating my photos and taking the time to comment.

joger, the artifacts were caused by the wind blowing mist on the lens, giving that "other worldly" look for which a Psychic always strives.

I can channel Amstel and we can shoot together. We will need a few assistants to carry the gear.

It's way too pretentious for a NYC mugger.

"Get your camera ready" means it's a lens.

BIG means long and white.

I checked for an Event Photographer in Queens NY and it listed 173, some as far away as Fairfax, VA.

If I were a client I would like a radius restriction.

$50K in assets is totally incorrect, NYC had inventory that exceeded that value sitting on the floor.

I knew there was a problem this morning when the website could not be found.

Every year the New York store would be less and less busy while the lines at B&H were out the door.

The prices were comparable but Calumet never had an advertising budget to drive internet and walk-in traffic.

Farewell Calumet, you will be missed.
