I bought a D800E.
BUT if you are strapped for cash get another D700. Controls are the same batteries same. You can load it up with another lens and use t in the dark without any problem.
Should be...

D800 or D800E either will do well I have the E and for shooting portraits then the E is the go. Forget the brickwork as its fine repeating patterns you have to worry about and I have yet to see...

Are you talking of the focus point, red square, or the focus confirmation green dot?
-
I thought that it's pretty simple "If the light (DOT) is on it's in focus" "If the light (DOT) is not on then it's not in focus. Simple!

Your lucky that your not in Australia as to return something to a retailer it has to have a fault, not buyers remorse or just don't like it.
Personally I feel sorry for the shop owner now with lots...

Have to say from D200 days through D700 and now D800E the 24-70 is on my camera in my hand 75% of the time. Love the versatility, colour and crispness of this lens. Only downside is I tend to carry...

Don't talk, just go to the sore pick up a Nikon or Cannon and whatever feels right for you use it. Other than that I think that you are talking through your hat.

Agree, I like them all. Lovely composition and well thought out.
You will have to look at the dust though as it is in all 3 shots.

Love this shot. Shooting into the sun and not getting excessive flair I love and you have capture this scene beautifully. Well done.
