  • If your wanting a fast lens with oss and wanting to use it wide open then soft corners are a none issue as DOF leads to soft corners anyway because they will be out of the focus zone anyway. If ...
  • Replied in K50 or K5IIS
Depends on your needs.  For myself I prefare the K5ii . The metal body, top LCD and a good long battery life. If you are a beginner you may prefare the k50 with its scene modes and the ability to ...
  • Then my I say , push the ISO up instead these modern pentax dslrs are great upto 3200 and still very usable at ISO 6400. I use a k5ii myself and push it hard in very poor low light. K5ii with 50mm f1.8
  • As it's only ISO 400 then just about any dslr could pull that off. I notice it fooled your metering as well. Having to lift EV by 1.7. You'd have done better manually setting exposure.
  • Alex. The droop is the weight of the metal lens barrel in the dust seals and the play in the bearings which give the zoom such a smooth movement.
  • JPEG I know where your coming from but after my first one with over a 1/2" of up down lift. ( look back to Paul till giff) this one is way better. Hope to get out with it soon and see if images ...
  • all the best to you and yours. Our family are doing well.hope to get more involved on here again soon.
  • I've printed a few A3+ with mine in the past. Ive actually sold more landscape images taken with the xs1 then any other camera I've ever owned.
  • yes eBay is a gamble. I was super flukey. I bid on a fuji s5 pro. Description was sold as seen . Untested. Body ,battery and black box part of charger. It looked mint . Paid £60 plus pp.  what a ...
  • Bassy no wiggle at all. Weather it stays that way once it's in use is another matter. I just had to get another one while I still could. I sold my last one and wished I had not. As for the price ...
  • Created discussions my new xs1 is here..
Fuji has shipped another batch of xs1 in to the uk. My local bricks and motor has managed to get me one in. It has a serial no 43N00xxx. no lens droop at all . Even came in a sealed bag.
  • You can have 18-35 f1.8 sigma for an APSC Dslr. Add a 24-70 f2.8 and a 70-200 f2.8. or olympus micro 4/3 12-40 f2.8 and 40-150 f2.8 pentax 16-50 f2.8 and 50-135 f2.8.
  • Replied in IQ near enough.
    i don't shoot raw.
  • Not if the macro setting is turned on. But then again you could say that about just about any Af even on top end dslr's.
  • The hs50 is about the best at it in the bridge camera choices. Manual zoom with manual focus . Press the button for one off auto focus to get you near and use the focus peeking manual zoom to fine ...
  • neither of these cameras are going to be competitive in a few years time. Especially with film/video in mind . 4K video is already quickly becoming the leading edge tech and will be very common in ...
  • That was the reason I switched over to fuji hs50exr. Better evf, manual zoom along with the ability to set camera to manual focus. Press the AF button the auto focus gets its some where near and ...
  • I'm using the 560 mk3 along with the RF603n trigger on my k5ii with no issues
  • Replied in in a nutshell
the sony A6000 has the best APSC sensor, better image quality . The 7D2 has everything else. If the high ISO IQ is as good as my K5 mk2 I might just get the canon . Most of my shooting is at ...
  • I'd go for the D3300 with a tamron 17-50 f2.8 as a starting point. The new processor in the D3300 gets you very good high ISO results without the banding. I use the 50mm f1.8G with mine. Great for ...
