obeythebeagle: Specs with the NEX7 being equal, the only reason for this camera's existence is cosmetic appearance. The "endangered specie line" of grip covering is especially stunning. Scandinavians are capable of decent design--the Danish company B&O could create a camera sleeker than a Porsche TT.

Hasseblad and Leica have become jewelery for the Republican one percent. To photography Mitt Romney's fantastical dancing horse with anything less than a Lunar would be despicable.

The Lunar was designed by a select Italian design team. And what is wrong with 1% and jewelery and Mitt and fantastical dancing horse? All sounds great!

À chacun son goût. This is a refined object for the select few (not the 47%). Wait until this goes on the next Soyuz mission.

In case all you naysayers still don't believe it the website says "Lunar is already a great success". So there. I believe it may already be sold out (in preorder)!

It should be more exclusive and cost more!

Hear hear! This is "out of the box" thinking. Most of you 48% are non creative and stuck in the box! I will swipe the plastic pronto!

It is a Lunar jewel, for Earth!

I believe a soft material like leopard fur would be very comfortable. What do you think?

You obviously lack style.

Maybe 48% will never be happy with this (or be able to afford it). Too bad for you. I will be taking pics at Nobu soon!

How much is the osmium body?? This is an advance over the 500c (w chrome lens) since it has auto focus (most likely). Hasssony should not have published the price. If you want to know you cannot afford.

Plebeians can still purchase the NEX-7 for around $1,100. But then they don't live in Trump Tower!

As Dr. Hansen says: this "aesthetically and ergonomically beautiful piece of camera art, complete with colour options and an evocative vintage look and feel, for photography lovers down here on planet Earth.” I'm proud to be from earth!

This is not for plebians. Don't forget Maybach.

To advance "outside the box" on a larger scale of course. More opportunity for this new "weird/funky" design! Can't wait to swipe the plastic.

Indeed. Fuddy duddies who cannot recognize the advanced new design thinking! I applaud too HasSony! Maybe they can create a large format camera with more surface area to develop.

Can't wait to order mine with a custom grip. Looking to find some reclaimed endangered wood or exotic endangered species or submerged rare leather. I guess I can get gold plating. Nice renderings!
