Placed 70^th in the challenge. Hidden away atop a village on a hil in Umbria, Italy stands the Cathedral of Orvieto, ground broke on the cathedral in 1290, and it was not completed until 1591! 300 years in the making, and you can see why - detail and care was put into every inch of the cathedral.
