I should admit that when using LV, it is sometimes very difficult to see what is going on the LCD depending of the kind of photo you take...
I am also probably going to make Pro screaming, but just...

I totally agree! Even if they treat bugs as a priority, they do introduce new features from time to time!!!
Of course, those 'new' features can also be seen as corrective action to software...

Looks like that you are missing a shirt after the upgrade!!!

:-)Totally agree with Robin, but experience from other may defer.
About the tungsten lights, it looks to have improved but I need more test to confirm. Not too sure on why the AF Tune will have...

Installed but as I mentionned in another post, still no implementation of two values for Zoom lenses in AF Tune...
That is a big disappointment for me since Canon offers that feature for a while...

Good news,
Nikon has finally released new firmware for their new flagships. Unfortunately, one of the most requested change is not there: I am speaking about the AF Tune for zoom with the ability...

Nice one! I am using the same combo but have about 10% success only on moving birds...
Actually the 300 f4 with the same TC 20E III is giving good results but the AF is a little bit slow.

Splendid!!! Obviously, you are not shacking as much as I do... ;-)))

Nice pics! However, I looked at the original pictures and noticed a lot of noise on some shots. 500 iso is not much so is it coming from the downscale you made to jpeg?Just curious. Usually I am...

Very nice!I just received my less expensive 300 f4 and I am amazed by the good quality of that lens! I tried it very quickly with the TC20 EIII handheld and was not pleased with the results till I...

It will be nice if NIKON was capable of implementing this in their next firmware, and not in the next body... ;-)

Hi Ryan
totally agree with others that at this time, you have to go to Nikon if you need more than +20/-20.
Same happened to my D800 that I had to take 3 times to their lab. I strongly recommend...

Hi Melvil
Congrats! I suggest that you attach the AF to the AF-On button only (menu A4=AF-ON only). It did help improving the overall number of good pictures vs bad ones. The D800 looks much...

Hi
Most of what you are saying is true! The D800 AF is not as good as some other cameras and I am quiet disappointed myself compare to my other cameras.
To mitigate this a little bit, when the...
