fantastic! but I'm determined to hold out for the Totoro-styled Nikon D4.
rohorn: Pfft - no wireless flash powder igniter? Why won't the back accidentally open up and expose the virtual film? Shutter buttons are just a profit fad - shutter release levers need to come back so I can tie a string to them so I don't have to buy the remote. Real photographers demand these things from camera corporations!
we should also demand an f64 lens
As a new Samsung-user, I'm still surprised by the way so many people love to hate this company [even my friends say 'but why would you buy a Korean camera??']. I've had the nx100 for about two months and it's already been around the world with me once. Together with the 30mm f2 lens I find it very comfortable to use, compact, light, unobtrusive... and the lens still surprises me regularly with what it can do. Very under-rated camera, IMHO.
I think we should give Samsung a bit of credit here - they seem to be trying to do something good - certainly the new lenses about to come out look VERY promising.
Having said that - the Sony NEX-7 is setting the bar high. I look forward to the NX300 - I'll be ready to upgrade then ;-)
