yes, smaller adapter and smaller lenses, imo the best way to go on a NEX

wow, this is quite impressive! I had not known the PX and just looked it up on the net, never would have guessed that this camera can be used under water!

yes, on FF sensor most FF lenses at wider apertures will have soft corners and vignette too. The question is how big is the difference between FF, NEX + speedbooster, NEX + lens turbo ;)
-
yes, focus is not exactly the same..
but I LOVE your sink, Listerine Total Care and tooth brushes, after yesterdays disillusioning comparison to the Speed booster I though having made a mistake...

your impulses are good, enjoy, guide to use manual lenses on NEX

for rangefinder lenses get LTM / M39 mount and a M39 to Leica M adapter, or go straight for Leica M mount lenses. Avoid the Contax Kiev mount, so for a J-8 take one in LTM resp. M39, not in Contax...

thank you very much Tom for remembering my question and coming back to answer it!
member Kichiro also had noted my question, and though not 'saying' it explicitly implied in his presentation of the...

WOW, the difference between the speed booster and lens turbo is MUCH more pronounced than I was hoping, even anticipating. Ari and all those who were suspicious of the cheap alternative had it...

yeah, the SEL24.1.8 must be great, you may miss it. The GR is a small, specialized camera for street shooting, different than NEX+SEL24 altogether, only you can know which one fits your 'needs' better

haha, good idea, might just turn out to be a non cost scheme and you'd have a great little camera to play with. Those who say that the fixed lens is a disadvantage don't understand this small...

enjoyable fact is that Ricoh GR looks better, sharper than NEX6 with Sigma 19, that...

when I was using Pentax dSLR and using only old manual lenses and the new AF solution being too dear I had missed good wide angle performance and wished for a FF but offerings had been far to big...

some 8 years ago I had decided that with the new digital technology finally I can fulfill a teenagers dream and bought myself a video cam. Soon I took more photos with it than I took videos and...

as you so well show the 1.4/50 Takumar has quite a field curvature, still I believe that it is optimized for close focusing, but not for test charts or brick walls but for a subject in focus and...

great results! the speed booster looks really good!
not all that much surprised that the Tamron 35-80, a very famous lens, beats the Tak in the corners, the 1.4/50 is not so much suited for...

I have around 100 SLR lenses and all of them can be adapted to my NEX5N and GXR M, many of them are Takumar lenses and I love them dearly. The more I am using these cameras the more I think that...
