Placed 14th in the challenge. 20 months old Giselle got to sit in front my camera last June. She is super active and is not shy at all! With her full expression, my camera could barely keep up. At the end of session, she was exhausted after hopping around in my studio and we were ready to wrap up. Since she was tired, we finally get to take a few shots with her sitting down.
For the final shot, I asked her if she is ready for snack. Her face lit up as it was music to her ears, and then, right at the moment, I clicked the shutter.

Placed 9th in the challenge. The 18 months old toddler, Giselle, decided to take walking to the next step by trying on mommy’s boots. Everything worked just fine and she got her first runway experience until her third step! From the beginning to the end, the entire fashion nightmare was captured and displayed in a 3 frame collage.

Placed 54th in the challenge. This photo was shot from our Eastern Sierra Trip in Oct 2009. It was supposed to be a fall foliage viewing trip but we ran into the first snow storm of the season. This photograph was shot right outside Bodie Ghost Town.
The storm shut down HWY 120 Tioga Pass and blocked our way home. We tried to beat it by heading Northeast to HWY 50 and we ran into another storm. The road was icy and we barely made it back to the bay area. Thanks to Rene for guiding us back with his years of experience in cold weather driving.

Nice shot! If I were the judge of this challenge, this will be the first place photo!

Personally, I don't like the photos but I learned something from it. “I really had no idea that there would be a possibility for setting up a studio.” “I was under the impression that I was...
