Another questions what are your thoughts on UV filters? is it a must?

Video isn't a big thing but as long as it works ??  Just really want to know that these lenses and the 60D is capable of putting together that 30 - 60sec video when asked to.

Ok i think the 60D is the camera for me.  Now to decide on a lens make up.  As it seems the one superzoom lens isn't the way to go.The Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM seems a much loved lens...
