Impresive details in wilderness setting. Would like to know this beautiful place.
It's HIM!!I just found the guy that out bit me on Ebay the past 1068 times!
When I was 12 or 13, my father gave me an Nikon FM2.....ahhhh...all the right dials at right place. I used it for 25 years before going digital.
After looking at these selections, I realize how lucky I was.
Would like to see the comparison test on the just launched zoom compacts:Pany LF1: 12mp on 1/1.7" sensor, 28-200mm f2.0-5.9.Sony HX50: 20.4mp on 1/2.3" sensor, 24-720mm f3.5-6.3.
They seem to target the same buyers...need longer zoom or more pixel...or better IQ?
Is it just me...? My Mom's iPhone shoots better colors then this.Might as well just to shoot B&W images.
Thank you DPReview! Great writing and review.Enough said! Now out to buy this lens and mount onto my XE1.
All these sample images look fine on my 24" HD screen. That been said, I won't print my photos to that size using any camera phone, regardless it's 4mp, 13mp, or 40mp.
I am still waiting for bigger sensor, 1/1.7" or 2/3".
I want this 55~200mm. ASAP! Please!
Tom Schum: Quite a large lens, compared to the 18-55.
It's bigger because it's 55~200mm.
I like the idea!Wish this tryout will NOT add to the purchase cost for the actual buyers.
I might just spend more time on DP Review when 'Nature' calls.
Now, Fuji, can you show me the lenses you promised???Hurry!
This might be the best set of 'real world photos' from DPReview. Each one was thoughtfully shoot.Look forward to your full review.
Thank you, DPReview. They are all great photos. But my favorite has to be...the 'Kitti-copter'!
Wow! Beautiful images & bokeh... Let's see...Nikon 70~200mm F2.8: 20.6cm (8.1in) long, 1,540g (3.4lb)...$2,400.Nikon 70~200mm F4: 17.9cm (7.0in) long, 850g (1.87lb)......$1,400.This long waited lens should make many FF Nikon owners very happy.
Ordered the XE1 w/ 18~55mm lens in September from BH. No shipping notice yet!Fuji better be working on my order now before they make that 14mm lens. Better hurry, Fuji! I'm really losing my patient when everyone else in the world are shooting their XE1.
Very nice!My only suggestion: keep all buildings strait up. Camera seems to point up just a little too much, making the highrises at right tilted inward.
