pentax the best !!!
koju: As an early owner of the X10 I feel left out when reading this, especially when I see all the out of focus pics from my recent trip to Greece. When is Fujifilm going to give us the benefit of their AF improvements for their other models?!!
I still have the X10 "orbs-original" and can not confirm that: With the focus I have no problems
+1 fujistill the best Fuji X
rtogog: This lens is excellent for sure! It is "small" but not pancake style. It will be good additional lens for building a system for Lumix G series, but not for Lumix DMC-GM1. She needs dedicated smaller lens to make it more proportional against its tiny & sexy body. Still salute for Panasonic to keep update their lenses lines.
how do you know?small and well? we wait from - nobody really needs this lens - for $ 800
rusticus: why the fuss, or hype - I use my awesome at GM1 20er pancake ;) I do not need this Pana-Leica really
es ist ein Hype, sonst nichts ;)

dylanbarnhart: The huge number of comments comes from the realization that:
1. Fourthird is dead - replaced by micro Fourthird. I doubt any more Panasonic DSLR will be made. Probably no 4/3rd lenses neither, since AF is faster on m43 lenses.
2. Sensor based phase detection autofocus is the future. Panasonic, Canon, Fuji, Nikon are all doing it.
Four Thirds has always been dead to me -mFT but I find great
I am amazed at> 1000 comments - it is an upgrade of the M-5, nothing else -and the image quality of the E-M5 is equal
danmar: If people don't notice the creases in the background they deserve to be hoodwinked. :-)
we are the land of full idiot. . .the least notice it
we, the "most successful species" on planet Earth, destroying the planet - despite the fact that we are "planning and thinking ahead" can
There are just too many idiots
samhain: I remember when the Nikon 1 was announced here. The majority of comments(mine included) were saying it was a dumb idea to use such a small sensor, and that would be the camera's downfall. And that's exactly what happened. I'd say most serious photographers consider even the M4/3 sensor too small. To go smaller is just pointless.
For Nikon to build a system based on a sensor thats even smaller than M4/3, in a time where cellphones clearly dominate the 'compact camera' market- it was just a stupid decision. I mean, this is Nikon we're talking about- they could've put out a mirrorless camera with an aps-c (or even FF) sensor-with an OVF & F-mount and it would've dominated the mirrorless market. Hopefully one will come eventually & this didn't scare them away from making a proper mirrorless camera.
Mischief -the 1 "sensor from Aptina is very good - and awesome for film -The V3 is already bought
and MFT is awesome - see the OM-D and the super film camera, the GH2 hack Vitaliy Kiselev
Fiacre: Nice camera, but why the silent mode (electronic shutter) is limited to 200-3200 ISO ? Does the electronic shutter add eletronic noise to the signal ?
electronic shutter is generally a good choice, despite the restriction - look for issues with the OM-D and E-P5
a camera that could be a real innovation - perhaps
I lived on the Rhine 33 years - now on the Baltic Sea -if I had known that, with the photos from the Rhine. . .
awesome - come to europe!!!
Strikeroot: Should we care if it doesn't have X-Trans CMOS II sensor? Does anything even have the II other than the 100s?
no, because the EXR sensor is the better
the only mirrorless camera without a viewfinder, which I buy, is the K-01
good camera - unfortunately ugly - I do not buy
it is probably a Panasonic version for 400 euros will come
1/2000 = Bullshi*and all = Bullshi*
NalaKing: i would rather get the E-P5 with the kit ( EVF + 17mm F1.8 ) and keep the rest of the money in my pocket.
I no longer Oly comes into the house - my OM-D I'm going to sell tomorrow
