Tricolored Fledglings Play Fighting (egretta-tricolor)
Taken on: Aug 5, 2012
Tricolored Fledglings Play Fighting. They'd chase each other around and get into mock battles both between each other and other running fledgling Tricolored Herons. It was quite fun to watch them doing Beak Judo.

Tricolored Fledglings Playing (Egretta tricolor)
Taken on: Jul 28, 2012
Tricolored Heron Fledglings running up and down the railings at Gatorland where the tourists usually stand. There were 8 or 9 of them all seemingly playing the same game. When two or more groups came together, there would be squawking and banter until they made it passed each other. Quite a humorous time and one of the reasons these wading birds are some of my favorites.

Taken on: Jul 22, 2012
The Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) a large raptor, sometimes known as the sea hawk, fish eagle or fish hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. The Osprey tolerates a wide variety of habitats, nesting in any location near a body of water providing an adequate food supply. The Osprey's diet consists almost exclusively of fish. This one is flying with it's fish over Gatorland's ponds near Orlando, Florida and Disney World.
