I'm experimenting with the widest aperture my new 50mm macro lens will go with the ISO set to 50. It's a pretty fun and well built lens. I just now started using it now that everything is returning from the winter. I think the images come out very sharp.

Finally got this critter ID'ed...it's a juvenile hooded oriole! Frankly I had no idea that we had ANY species of oriole round these parts much less this guy but here he is in all his yellow feathered glory. Gotta admit those daily birding walks are really paying off!
