When watching the tree closer, one discovers numerous branches in different sizes and twists. They all balance themselves in total as a “storm fighter” system. On this Jura mountain height, frequently terrifying storms blow. The tree developed a perfect stabilizing system out of given statics as the answer to high pressure. Each needle supports the tree. One can think that over for mastering life in general. The tree standing alone in a fighting environment shows perfect health.

The classic negative film reflects the human viewing patterns. Not as perfect as digital but transmitting the sensibility of feeling the cold.

Swiss quality control. Switzerland is quite expensive. But, milk and meat are very well controlled and great in quality. Short-term low pricing views destroy cultures and their people.

The bright blue sky with mild temperature shows that a heavy winter storm just passed. The storm knocked down strong branches of the beech trees.

Due to the living power of the trees, the snow melts around first. Short moments of a reminder that the spring will arrive - not now, but it will come.

After a hot summer day, balloons are sailing towards the Jura mountain heights. The air still carries the smell of the rich August crops underneath.

This is the Foveon-X3-example. I never got the pictures right. Colors and hues are very difficult to handle and cannot be fully corrected. That's why I will not continue with Sigma cameras, although their technical sensor concept is great.

This is a classic example of colors and impressions from Fuji negative film with a great lens. Film lacks digital detail and perfection but got its own expressions matching our seeing experience. Unfortunately, time does not permit the long workflow of analog pictures production. Perfect scanning and adjustments are so time consuming. Digital is just more modern. Nevertheless, I continue film work for special purposes and moments of reflection.
