While having dinner at a local restaurant on the Big Island the sun began to shine through the leaves of a plant next to me. Hidden on the other side of the leaf was a gecko who didnt realize his cover was blown :)

One morning while on the Big Island i spent about an hour playing hide and seek with a little gecko hiding between the ridges of a palm frond. It took forever and i walked away with quite a collection of mosquito bites, but it was well worth it in the end. I have another shot of this gecko in the palm frond which is more of a profile shot, but this one i love because every time i look at it i smile and then feel the creeps. He just has this look on his face like hes saying "im going to get you while you sleep!"
