A rather toothy display of love and affection from our dear little foundling Opala. She'd been dumped on the street by her "loving" family when she was just 8 weeks old and by the time we'd met her, she'd been living the hardscrabble life of a wild critter for more than three years. God only knows the full extent of the horrors that she'd experienced during that time....the stories about her from our neighbors were shocking enough, but for some strange reason she never lost her capacity for love and joy.
Now 5 years later she's happy healthy and adoring to the point of annoyance, just like every kitty should be and as you can see from this picture doesn't hesitate to let everyone know it.

The Lil Boo gives a High 5!

A natural born clown, our Lil Boo has got to be the cheeriest, most happy go lucky creature I've ever met. There was a quote in the Robin Williams film" Patch Adams" where Williams' character was described as someone who suffered from "excessive happiness"....that's our Boo to the letter. Morning noon and night she's always on the go, bouncing round the house looking for a foot to attack, a puffy ball to molest or a good solid romp with another member of our feline 5 pack like a wind up toy who's spring never runs down. She's an endless sort of amusement and joy and we're glad to be a part of her "pride".

A close-up study of my Siosio..she's always had this intensity about her, especially the eyes. My spouse calls it her 1000 year stare cos she has an ageless gleam in her eye as if her soul has been around for a millennia.
