Trimming a cow's foot with an angle grinder, Toms Farm, New Forest, Hampshire, 9th June 2013
Normally specialised foot knives are used for foot trimming along with large clippers, though in some cases the specialist opts for an angle grinder instead of the clippers. This speeds the process up, however there is an increased risk of damage to the cows foot. It is still a matter of debate within the veterinary profession whether angle grinders should be used at all.
