Subject (model) is to close for f1,4. Because of that just the nose its sharpen... when slightly overexpose when the high iso, is lost and this little noise visible here... Great high iso. On the rest of the pics, WB on high iso, greater ever seen...

Gosh pixel peepers... I mourn for you. Only the manufacturers and their pleebs want you to hunt for noise.... map the grain.... one of the greatest devices ever created to assist a man in understanding his peers, his ancestors, the cosmos itself now has capability beyond our wildest dreams 10 yrs ago, and...for the love of Oscar.....have you ever tried to shoot a roll of Provia at a Christmas party in The Keg restaurant?!!? Well??!! "Soft at wide open", indeed! AAAAaaarrrgh...Okay, I was just doing that for enterntainment value. I'm just turned 40 BTW so it's not like the old days were very old or anything.... but this image has so many features considered high calibre and of the type a professional would have - and be proud to have - at his disposal. Our cameras now see better than our eyes, and by orders of magnitude in many cases (not magnification - that too but I mean discernment, resolving, lowlight perf,) resulting in my brain hunting around for an unsharpen firmware upgrade.

Not sure you can have a sharp picture at 9K ISO...
