This is typical of Fuji cameras. Red shows wrong color shift and void of any details.
Terrible. The file is over exposed by 1/2 stop - thereby blowing both the yellows and reds. A simple -.4 exposure adjustment in PS CS6 brought all the detail back into the red petals (contradicting the red smearing complaints) and detail back into the yellow stamens. This also improves the greens, making them much richer. Not sure what you are attempting to say, Andy, but you sure are contributing to the rumors or "poor greens" and "red smearing". As greens are often a combination of the blue and green channels this can be true. However, I would call this a user fault, not a sensor fault.
