Very very sad, 1600, really?
This shot has 'Noise Filter' set to 'Standard,' which I find a bit over-the-top for my tastes. Later in the gallery you'll find the two examples of a shot, one processed with these default settings, the other with Noise Filter and sharpening turned down.
Gee, I was in Flinders lane 2 days ago. But stopped in Delgrave St. Happy coincidences.
IS0 1600 looks pretty awful - blotchy noise and artefacts all over the place. Not at all what I was expecting...
A camera that goes all the way up to ISO 25600 should be pretty clean at ISO 1600. This image is fairly noise free but there's also a shed load of processing and smearing of detail in there. Disappointing.
