Which ear is the good one?
Dispite the aperture 2.5 (max1.8), the DOF is still to much.
This is an excellent exemple to demonstrate the discrepancy between frame dimensions and optics caracteristics: 1.8 is not enough.
I still have OM1 and 2 with various lenses and am convinced about OLY technical capacity. But this picture is a perfect demonstration that even with good lenses the frame is to small.
Except the reflex FF which are still to big and to heavy. I am convinced that the way to make light cameras is to cancel the miror, having interchangeable lenses, but keeping the FF.
4/3, APS-C and othesr are there just because they are cheaper respect to FF.
The reduced frames have been introduced to allow producers to have something to sell at a price accepted by the consumers waiting the development of good and cheap FF.
6D and D600 are confirming the point.
To come back at market top OLY has to come back to FF. All the rest are details.

AmAzEd at the tight resolution at the focus point at this high 800 ISO.
