EV=3.28 or 3
Wow. I would use ISO3200 (maybe 6400) quite happily if I could afford one of these.
So whats wrong the ISO100 - what am I missing (looked good to me)?
I think Canons drive for higher ISO performance is a good move rather than just more MPs. Surely of interest to sports / indoor natural light photographers?
not very impressive at ISO 100 in fact I can see no advantage over my 5D II in similar conditions.
Looks like this camera is addressing a different use case then I normally have - not very attractive at 3.3 k EUR compare to the 2.3 k EUR I payed some 3 1/2 years ago for the 5D II
Main interest will probably come form video shooters and desperate 5D owners for new gear.
The camera seems to address a niche of the market that was untouched by Canon till the 1Dx came out - I still wonder why they need two cameras to address a similar use case?
This shot clearly illustrates the base ISO 100 is also on such cameras unbeatable - would like to see real world comparisons e.g. printed results from both cameras - I am quite sure that the quality gain of the new sensor is almost invisible even at very large prints beyond 24x35 inches if at all.
Impressive low light performance
cool the results !
