I think I managed to set the mood for this cold and windy Tuesday evening. I was especially happy with the textures and lighting I placed throughout the scene.

There's something special about the view from this cliff looking down on Brisbane. You are able to take in the entire Brisbane River as it snakes its way around the city and then along and out to the Pacific Ocean. A truly beautiful site indeed.

This was taken in the CBD of Brisbane, Australia. I was out that morning to photograph the sunrise but was in for a surprise when I found the city in a blanket of Fog. This is one of the alleyways of the city and you can see how the rising sun would light up the fog where it touched it.

This morning, 30/06/2012, the city CBD was blanketed in fog and I was able to capture some of the movement of it in this shot. You can see how the buildings really help you to create strong compositions. The line of bikes on the left also helps to lead your eye into the image. I like the distortion the 14mm lens gives and feel no need to correct in an artwork like this, in fact I think it enhances it.
