Blue-Winged Teal (Anas discors) at Viera Wetlands
Blue-Winged Teal (Anas discors) mated pairs swimming Viera Wetlands in Brevard County, Central Florida. The Blue-winged Teal is a small dabbling duck from North America. During one study, about half of the nest failures of Blue-winged Teal were caused by mammals. Striped and Spotted Skunks were responsible for two-thirds of these losses.
