MOONSET Moonlit Starry Night Sky (was just clouded over) Autumn Fall Color Leaves Self-Portrait on floating dock on lake by family cottage. I was standing 'still' precariously OFF-CENTER on a bobbing floating dock, and inches from easily falling over into the cold lake under the dark moonlit night. I appear a bit 'fat' due to wide angle distortion standing so far to the side. The lake reflection was crystal clear as there were no ripples whatsoever, I had to hold still on the dock or it would have created ripples in the water clear across the lagoon. It was still very early in the morning, and the camera is actually facing WEST, as the moon was setting, and the dawn sun was still at least 2 hours away. I was disappointed the clouds obscured the stars as the moon started to go down and the scenery was just getting into that 'golden moment' (similar to sunset of dusk). You can see my remote wire cable exposed nearby behind my left foot.
